One of the most important types of civic engagement is voting in elections. In , in keeping with our commitment of bringing our diverse community together, On The Table Philly hosts and participants discussed local issues and were asked to give us a wish list of questions to ask the candidates running for office in the election.

The candidates did not disappoint. Carrie Johnson and Ameer Purdie, Jr. Morgan Hugo and Brett Mapp. Patty Deitch and Carolyn Smart. Kim Paynter and Marilyn D'Angelo. Mark Mattingly and Amer Kechli. Nicole Hruska and Dana Hirschenbaum.

A few years later, Paar sold the stations to Paul Harron. Two years later, the frequency was changed. For about 10 years, WHYY actually had two stations.

For a decade, WHYY operated both stations but eventually turned the Channel 35 license back into the government. Though neither station claims the other to be competition, both stations do carry some of the same programming, mostly from APT, American Public Television, a sort of secondary PBS type network.

Turn left onto N Madison St. Turn right at the 3rd cross street onto W 4th St. Turn left onto N Market St. Metered parking is available on the street in front of the building.
